Born from a shared dream, the Antojitos Guadalajara family was established to bring the vibrant, rich culinary heritage of Jalisco straight to the heart of the Okanagan region. Our restaurant is a celebration of resilience, hard work, and true cultural connection in Vernon, BC.
At Antojitos Guadalajara, we honor our heritage by focusing on time-tested traditional preparations. For us, the foundation of true Mexican cuisine is sacred. This is why our kitchen is completely rooted in the ancient power and legacy of corn—the true genetic heart of Mesoamerican gastronomy. Every single one of our soft corn tortillas, thick gorditas, and crispy tostadas is pressed by hand from scratch using 100% natural, gluten-free masa.
True to our roots, our menu focuses strictly on traditional home-cooked stews (Tacos de Guisado), slowly simmered con sazón, and comforting family recipes like our authentic Jalisco pozole and house-baked tortas. We do not serve fast-food, commercialized burritos, or Tex-Mex fusion. We believe that traditional food shouldn't be compromised or masked by foreign twists; it should be honored exactly as it has been prepared for generations in Mexican homes.
